View two types of Options Chains! Butterflied Display - With WorldWatch® Insight's Butterflied Display you can view a securities underlying Option Chain according to Contract Month and Strike Price. The screen is separated into two sides - the Left is for Call Options and the Right is for Put Options. The Strike price is clearly displayed in the middle of the screen for easy viewing of both Puts and Calls and is set as Mirror images from each other. Available Fields include:
For a more detailed quote or to start a Tick-by-Tick chart of a particular Option, simply double click on any field to either the Left (Calls) or Right (Puts) of the Strike Price and make your selection. For a more advanced look at the Options Market, you may want to opt for WorldWatch® Insight's more advanced Options Display and Analytics. Here, a user can simply type in the underlying security name to view the Last, Net Change, Open/Tick, High, Low and Accumulated Volume on the underlying security as well as gain access to all of the associated Options on that security. In this display, the user is presented with all the necessary information about the underlying security and is also presented with the following Option related fields:
From there, a user can apply certain parameters to be applied to the entire Option Chain. A user can choose to accept certain defaults, or change the default values in any or all of the following fields:
The user can then click once on the "Calculate" button and the default values or user-entered values will then be applied to the entire Option Chain. Calculation fields include:
for both Puts and Calls. If a user should then desire to change
only the variable of a particular Option, simply double clicking on it
will create a dialog box to enter in new variables. |
